Hi, I'm Julie. I am a writer, designer and web developer based in Vancouver, BC.
I work with organizations, businesses and individuals to develop strategic and accessible websites and marketing materials that support their initiatives. As a sole practitioner, I offer an agency’s services and professionalism with a freelancer’s flexibility and efficiency. I collaborate with clients who value asking questions and growing their ideas for positive impact.
As a trusted partner, I consider every project a Joint Venture. I work as an extension of your team and we collaborate to drive our ideas forward for even better results.
I have worked with clients in the fields of advocacy, architecture, arts and culture, design, government, real estate, outdoor, fashion, psychology, technology and more. I believe digital experiences can have positive real-world results and I am motivated by projects and partners that value sustainability, community and social impact.
I have designed publications and planned and executed traditional and digital marketing initiatives. I merge this experience with design and technical skills, resulting in an informed approach, a collaborative process and effective solutions.
I am currently writing my first novel and several other stories. I also write a newsletter featuring stories about finding new ways to live, embracing the life we have and doing the things we want (at least some of the time).
When I'm not at my desk, I can often be found walking or cycling along the Vancouver seawall, practicing yoga or indulging in a good detective series.
