"We wanted a photography focused design with a bold visual style to help showcase exciting live event coverage, and Julie succeeded in spades. Through an iterative process leveraging her kind, considered and candid approach, she worked to create the best possible site for our content. I’d recommend Julie to anyone who values clear conversations, easy expectations management and integrity of the final product both in the beautiful aesthetic and robust back-end architecture."

"The site turned out to be clear, with simple navigation that flowed elegantly and with great style. That style can stand well on its own, like with the business cards [Julie] also created, but fades nicely into the background when you start paging through the photos and reviews. Everyone who comes across the site loves it. The interface’s responsiveness allows them to keep digging through the archives to find their favourite artists and events. It’s something the artists we cover are proud to be a part of and share with their audiences."

"On the backend of the site, it’s minimal, transparent, and logical. This allows us to easily escape the pitfalls of popular off-the-shelf web frameworks, where nothing is exactly as you want it and nearly everything requires heavy plugins. It gives us easy access to add content, share the system across many contributors, and tweak structure along the way."
